Responsibilities: As an experience Ford Automotive Technician you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes and air conditioning to required specifications.
• Perform vehicle inspection to identify necessary repairs.
• Provide labor time estimates for all repair work.
• Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary and applicable repair work.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for service repairs
• Participate in on-going company and manufacturing training and education programs, to stay current on constantly changing vehicle technology.
• Provide and maintain a basic inventory of required hand tools.

Qualifications:

• Prior automotive repair experience preferred
• A team player whois focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Posses a valid in-state driver's license
• Pass a motor vehicle report and posses an acceptable safe driving record
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen

We are currently looking for a full-time, experienced Automotive Service Advisor at Caskinette Ford in Carthage, NY! Our service advisors assist our customers with all of their service needs and create a positive customer experience to build loyalty.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Schedule service appointments

-Greet customers in a kind manner and record all vehicle information

-Accurately write up vehicle issues on repair orders

-Refer to service history & inspect vehicles

-Recommend additional vehicle services needed

-Provide accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts

-Keep customers posted on progress of repairs throughout the day: Includes explaining in detail of any estimate or time changes and getting proper authorization before performing additional repairs

-Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction standards

Experience:

-Top-notch communication skills

-Great attitude and personality

-Excellent customer service skills

-Must have a valid driver's license

-Those interested should also be self-motivated, honest, computer savvy and a team player.
